The following studios are located in the Drake Performance and Event Center. Contact the Undergraduate Studies Coordinator for a tour of our facilities.
The scenic studio has capabilities for working with plastics, metals, and advanced technological materials, in addition to the conventional construction techniques.
The costume studio has facilities for working with fabrics and dyes as well as plastics, leather, and other materials, and includes space for special work in makeup.
The lighting studio provides hands-on experience with conventional and automated light fixtures, various manufacturers' consoles and equipment, color scrollers, and other state-of-the-art equipment.
The department also has a video studio with resources for video production and a television studio (Buckeye TV).
