Sarah Loucks is a playwright and theatre-maker. She is the recipient of a 2024 MAP Fund grant, an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Arkansas Arts Council, and two Artist 360 awards from the Mid-America Arts Alliance. She is a four-time funding recipient from the Austin Cultural Arts Division and was awarded the Three New American Plays prize by Forward Flux Productions in 2017. In 2019, Loucks co-produced DOLLY FEST, a performance festival dedicated to Dolly Parton in Austin, Texas.

Her plays include DQ; Or, Our Sovereign State (Stonehenge NYC, TheatreSquared, Theatre Midwest), Massive Ordnance Air Blast (Hyde Park Theatre, University of Arkansas), Songs for Drunk Cowboys Who May Also Be Women: An Anti-Musical, For Fools Only (TheatreSquared, Museum of Human Achievement), and Crave Blue (Maestro George Theatre). Her work has been staged in theatres, warehouses, parking lots, and backyards.

Sarah studied Grotowski technique at Double Edge Theatre (MA) and participated in the Rhodopi International Theatre Lab in Smolyan, Bulgaria.
