Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Liz Cambron is a filmmaker, storyteller, and writer whose work interrogates the difference between fiction and non-fiction and is rooted in a queer intersectional feminist praxis. She does this by incorporating ecological and relational narrative structures into her films to explore topics such as women’s labor struggles, sexuality in women’s lives, and magical realism as a method for deconstructing social structures such as gender and class. She considers her moving image work and screenwriting as tools to dissect, inspect, and shape social interactions and power relations. Her films have shown internationally and at esteemed venues including Slamdance Film Festival, Roots and Culture Contemporary Art Center, the Wexner Center for the Arts and others. She has worked professionally and extensively in the documentary film industry on many award-winning projects. She received her BFA in Motion Picture Production from Wright State University’s prestigious film program and her MFA in Moving Images from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was a University Fellow.
