Visiting Scholar Hongliang Zhou successfully completed his PhD degree in China this week. He defended his dissertation (220,000 words) before a six-member committee of faculty from the Shanghai Theatre Academy and Zhejiang University. While he was a doctoral candidate in the College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University (rated as an elite C9 League university), Zhou studied with Stratos E. Constantinidis on a scholarship from the Chinese Ministry of Education for 13 months (2019-2020).
