Nicolas Shannon Savard received a Global Arts and Humanities Discovery Themes Mobile Methods and Practices Grant for $1,500. The award will partially fund the Trans AND Digital Performance Festival, February 6 - 7.

The festival brings together seven trans and gender nonconforming artists from across the United States for a weekend of genre-blending, gender-defying acts and dialogues exploring the intersections of art, identity, activism, and community.

Co-sponsors of the festival include the Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute, The Syndicate, the Performance Studies Working Group, and the Arts and Humanities Small Grants Program.
