Beth Kattelman (MA, '91; PhD, '99) Receives Artist Grant

Dr. Beth Kattelman (Professor of University Libraries and Theatre, Film, and Media Arts (by courtesy) and Curator of the Theatre Research Institute) has been awarded a Greater Columbus Arts Council "Funds for Artists Grant" for her work as a puppet creator and performer. In 1984 Kattelman co-founded MADCAP PRODUCTIONS, INC. a Cincinnati-based puppet-theatre troupe, and she has been creating and performing with puppets ever since. She has worked as a consultant and puppet designer for many Central Ohio Theatre companies, and still directs the award-winning troupe THE PUPPET QUEERS.
