Ohio State Theatre and Music Major Hailee Franklin will give a presentation on her experience at the Ohio State Autism Project/Bridgeway Academy Internship.
This internship, in its seventh year, provides an immersive pre-professional course-credit internship for one exceptional undergraduate student.
Employing her unique gifts in music, theatre and devising, Franklin has spent the spring semester collaborating with a variety of professional mentors at Bridgeway Academy in Columbus to create new and exciting arts opportunities for children on the autism spectrum through a variety of original interventions, exercises and the creation of two new plays.
Associate Professor Kevin McClatchy and Alexa Reck, Franklin's mentor at Bridgeway Academy will also participate in the conversation.
This event is free and open to the public.
