Joshua Lewis is a PhD student from Salt Lake City, UT. Recently, he earned his MA in Theatre from the University of Oregon, where his research investigated the ramifications of modifying Theatre of the Oppressed practices. Before attending the University of Oregon, he earned his BA in Theatre from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

While at Ohio State, Lewis hopes to continue researching theatre for social change, political theatre, and other forms of performance that incorporate activism. He also intends to pursue a Graduate Minor in Cinema/Video Production.
