Kristine Kearney is a member of the USAA Local #829, New York City. Kearney has designed costumes for the stage with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse-in-the-Park, Nebraska Repertory Theatre, The Cleveland Playhouse, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Willamette University Theatre, and Denison University. She has also worked on a number of films as Set Costumer and Tailor/Seamstress. Some of her film credits include The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy, and Fried Green Tomatoes. Kearney has won the Meritorious Achievement Award in Costume Design from the American College Theatre Festival for On The Verge...or the Geography of Yearning, Willamette University Theatre and has had two major exhibits featuring costumes, costume accessories and renderings from productions produced and commissioned by the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. She retired from the department in 2022.
