Dr. Rebecca Turk accepts position at Denison University

Please join the Department of Theatre in congratulating and sending best wishes to Dr. Rebecca Turk! After nine years as the Costume Studio Manager, Dr. Turk has accepted the position of Visiting Professor of Costume Design at Denison University. She begins her new appointment on August 10, 2020. Along with the outstanding support and care she gave faculty, staff, and students during these last nine years, Dr. Turk earned her MA and PhD degrees from Ohio State. Her doctoral degree is in Arts Administration, Education and Policy and was conferred spring, 2019 after the successful defense of her dissertation, “Costuming as Inquiry: An Exploration of Women in Gender-Bending Cosplay Through Practice and Material Culture.”
