Department alumnus David Lander (BA '87) designed lighting for the world premiere of The Flood, a work co-commissioned by Opera Columbus and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra. Composed by Korine Fujiwara with librettro by Stephen Wadsworth, The Flood tells the story of human connection through loss and shared tragedy, centered around the devastation of Columbus' Franklington neighborhood in the Great Flood of 1913.
