Alum Yi-Ping Wu (PH '19) Accepts Offer at Ming Chuan University

Alum Yi-Ping Wu (PH '19) accepted a full-time position as assistant professor in the Department of Radio and Television at Ming Chuan University in Taipei, Taiwan. This private university with 18,500 students is located in Taipei City.

Wu's dissertation is titled "The Comfort Women in Northern East Asia as Represented by Plays, Rallies, and Exhibits." Her committee included Stratos Constantinidis (advisor), Jennifer Suchland (Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), Lynn Itagaki (English and Women's and Gender Studies, University of Missouri), and Beth Kattelman (University Libraries).
