Join us this Wednesday as we meet members of Ohio State's Theatre Arts Group. TAG was founded in 2014 with the vision of bringing the magic of theatre to underserved and underprivileged students in the Columbus community. To achieve this goal, the founding members of TAG introduced an afterschool program introducing students to all things theatre to a local high school, Columbus Northern International School.
Three years later, TAG continues to thrive at CNIS, and the organization has expanded its programming to more heavily impact a greater number of students. Programming has been expanded to include workshops with Columbus theaters, field trips to local productions, presentations by local theatre professionals, and, most recently, expansion into a variety of Columbus-area elementary schools. The Department of Theatre offers the Lunch & Learn series as an opportunity for members of the department to engage in casual conversation about topics of shared interest, but especially addressing a student audience. Bring your lunch and join in the discovery. No RSVP required.
