Farewell to Thurber Theatre
On November 18, 1972, the Department of Theatre opened Thurber Theatre with a production of Jabberwock by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee. Now, 50 years later, the Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts closes Thurber Theatre with a production of William Wycherley's The Country Wife.
If you've shed blood, sweat, or tears onstage or back stage, you're invited to gather with us to reminisce and bid farewell to our beloved theatre. Stop by to get your picture taken on the set, to write a goodbye message on the back wall, and to mingle with others who have spent countless hours in Thurber Theatre.
There will be a short program at 4:30pm.
Please register by Thursday, November 17th.
