Screening room and projection booth, outfitted with a Mac Studio and a Bring-your-own-Device source controlled via Crestron touch panel. Dell 4K tabletop monitor, Christie 4K7-HS projector, Denon Blu-Ray and media player, Emotiva audio processor, and a 7.1 QSC speaker array, as well as an AVID MTRX audio interface for Pro Tools Ultimate.
Lock Schedule
Locked 24/7, except during class periods. LENEL card reader for authorized users.
Who can reserve Film Screening Room?
This space is available for reservation by:
- MIP Faculty & Lecturers for program-related and department-related purposes.
- Film Studies Faculty & Lecturers for program-related and department-related purposes.
- MIP Senior Project Students, strictly for course-related projects. Reservations require approval from both the course instructor and MIP staff. Please contact your instructor for specific guidance and procedures.
This space is not available to: students who are not enrolled in designated MIP production courses, student organizations, other university units, or the public.

General policies about room use
- Room users are required to re-set the room furniture back to its standard configuration after use.
- Food and drink are not allowed in classrooms or program spaces in the Theatre, Film, and Media Arts Building. Food and drink are allowed in the lobby, offices, 4th floor kitchen and room 218 Student Lounge.
- Water bottles with secure lids are allowed.
- Painter's tape is the only adhesive allowed on walls. Do not use any other type of adhesive.
- Do not puncture walls or any surface with holes. The use of push pins, nails and screws is prohibited.
- Spike and gaff tape are the only tapes allowed on floors in approved spaces. Do not use any other type of tape on floors.

- Consult Theatre Production or Moving-Image Production Staff for assistance in determining floor tapes for course work, rehearsals, etc.
- There are generally no trash cans in spaces or offices. Building users are expected to throw trash away in the hallway trash cans.
- Student organizations are not allowed to reserve rooms, except in specially approved circumstances.
- University resources, including building facilities, can never be used for activities that result in personal profit.
