24 Hour Theatre

Every spring semester, participants write, direct, and act in original pieces all within a crazy 24 hour time frame. Writers show up at the kickoff of the event and are given a theme or line of text to inspire their work. This folds into an overnight sleepover in the Drake Center where work continues, with plenty of breaks for food, conversation, and movie watching. The next morning, directors and actors gather to read scripts and select which will be presented. The rest of the day is spent rehearsing, eating pizza, and preparing for the show that happens—ready or not!—at 7 PM. All are welcome to participate! While the performance itself is free, APO collects donations, with all proceeds going to Camp Sunrise. For further information, contact Alpha Psi Omega President, Constance Hester at hester.60@osu.edu.
